Summary

This project revolve saround the personalities and events of the press, health and education,with its events in Algeria during the period (1945_ 1954). The subjectis a continuity of projects, and publications and reflectionscarried out at CRASC: (HassanREMAOUN: dictionnaire du passé de l’Algérie, de l’antiquité à 1962, CRASC, 2015); or within the framework of cooperation research projects (HassanREMAOUN&AhmedKHOUADJA:les mots au Maghreb : dictionnaire de l’espace public, CRASC, 2019); in addition to the issues of the Insaniyatreview (N ° 24 _ 25 _2004).

Many dictionaries written by Algerian authors: AchourCHEURFI (2009, 1996), and foreignerssuch as: NUIHADH Adel (1980). About the press, Zahir IHADDADEN (1983) and Zoubir SEIF EL ISLAM (1979) or even Mohamed BERNÁCER (2006) had studied history of the pressduring the French colonization in Algeria, and Fatima-Zohra GUECHI (2017).

The present project represents the collective Algerian memory; aimingredaction a dictionary in Arabic,on two versions paper and digital,also digitalisingof the documents, documentaries, testimonials of the project on the CRASC website. The dictionary will constitute an academic and pedagogic reference in the period chosen.
The project will adopt historical approach in studying events in Algeria though (1945-1954); also on the biographic approach of journalists and health and education personalities.

Therefore it’s important to analysecontext of Algerianhealth and educationon(1945_ 1954), whichrecorded an offense against Algerians, violence against newspapers (manynewspapers have disappeared) in addition to the degradation of the "system" of the health for the spread of diseases and epidemics; or eveninequalities in access to school in addition to the closure of Arab and Coranicschools. Howeverthe present study will be relying on researchtoolssuch as: interviews, testimonies and fieldsurveys, but also the readingreview of works or files, audio or filmed documents related to the theme in question.
